SYNOPSIS: Shoal Creek Partners, located in the rolling "silicon-hills" of Austin, Texas, had an identity crisis. They had no brand identity! In the spring of 2007, Shoal Creek Partners contacted Mindcandy Studios to create new brand identity. A small company founded by a young entrepreneurial couple, they needed a brand identity that was professional yet highly flexible. Currently an ISP (Internet Service Provider) specializing in internet security solutions, they are in a transitional phase and want to move into other endeavors such as real-estate investments and venture capital consulting. They needed a timeless and flexible brand identity with a positioning tagline that would not lock them into the information technology industry.

RESULTS: Conscious of their long-term strategic objectives, Mindcandy Studios created a brand identity that would allow them to transition into other entrepreneurial endeavors. Shoal Creek is a beautiful, crystal-clear creek that is dry in the winter. Fed by the Edwards Aquifer, this Austin treasure comes to life with the spring rains. Austin is also famous for the myriad of multi-colored wildflowers that bloom in the spring months. Mindcandy Studios created a brand identity that captures the incomparable beauty of Austin in the springtime —vivid, colorful and teeming with life!
